How do I create a new workspace?

Create a new workspace in a few simple steps.

When you set-up a StreamWork account, you will be prompted to name your organization (people typically name the organization after their real-life organization name). You will then be navigated to your account where you can create workspaces.

Workspaces are often departments, teams or clients within your broader organization. You can think of workspaces as an easy way to organize all members and creative assets in a single, secure place.

You can create multiple workspaces and move between them. For example, let's say you work in a marketing department. Your organization may be named after your company (ex. Google Marketing), and then each workspace would be a different department (Ex. Brand Marketing, Content Marketing, Events & Experiences, Field Marketing, etc). If you’re an agency, you can create workspaces per client.

To create a workspace:

2. Click on the “+” button in the far left side of the navigation bar.

2. Name the workspace and upload an image.

Tip: The workspace image must be a JPG or PNG, 10MG max size, and include a solid background color.

3. After you create the workspace, you will be promoted to invite members to the workspace via email or an invite link.

Tip: Learn more about how to invite users to StreamWork in this Help Center article.

4. Voila! You’ve created a workspace. You can manage the workspace settings anytime by clicking on the carrot next to the workspace name in the main left-hand navigation.

Tip: If you’d like to create multiple workspaces, repeat the same steps until you’ve set-up your StreamWork account exactly as you’d like.
