What is an admin in StreamWork?

An Admin is the owner of the organization (or account) in StreamWork, with full access to manage users, workspaces, billing, and overall platform settings.

StreamWork has four core roles: Admin, Workspace Manager, Member, and Contributor—plus a Reviewer role for users added to approval workflows.

An Admin is the owner of the organization (i.e., account) in StreamWork. Admins have full control over the organization, including all workspaces and members within them. They are also responsible for managing billing and account-level settings.

Admins can invite anyone to a workspace—whether they’re part of the organization or external—and assign roles to each user based on their level of access. This ensures the right people have the right permissions in every workspace.

Further, admins have access to an admin-level dashboard that gives them a bird's eye view of all workspaces, including who has access to those workspace, and which projects and folders (shared and private) within them. Admins can edit, delete and manage all members within all workspaces.

Admins are able to:

  • Create, manage, and delete organizations, workspaces, projects, and folders

  • Manage storage and seat allocations across workspaces

  • Add, edit, or remove any user type—including contributors—from the organization or workspaces

  • Upload, manage, and delete creative assets

  • Create, assign, edit, and delete tasks

  • Route assets for approval and invite reviewers

  • Edit existing approval workflows

  • Comment, reply, and annotate directly on assets

  • Manage billing and subscription settings
